This is Ilya Romanov, a Russian anarchist who is paralised after a stroke in prison. The prison just refused to admit the medical equipment and to do any rehabilitation for Ilya, so he might not even survive until they start doing it. The prison authorities say Ilya doesn’t have an illness that prevents him from staying in the penitentiary.
