Review of repressions for November 2022

💡 On November 11, in the Minsk city "court", Nastya Kukhta was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment under articles 342 (Participation in protests), 361.3 (Calling for sanctions or actions aimed at causing damage to the national security of the Republic of Belarus) and 361-1.1 (Creation or participation in extremist formation).
💡 Anarchist Nikita Emelyanov was placed in a PKT (a cell-type facility) for a month, and he was also fined 10 days in a penal isolation cell. These days are not included in the period of detention in PKT. It is known that Emelyanov received an answer to the supervisory complaint, which was left without satisfaction, and the sentence remained unchanged - 3.5 years in a prison under strict regime.

💡 On November 16, the Gomel regional "court" announced the verdict in the criminal case against Christina Cherenkova, an anti-fascist from Mozyr. She was sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment. The girl was accused of calling trash "garbage" on her Instagram and posting anti-war publications. Her actions were regarded as inciting another kind of social discord (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code).
💡On November 15, the court considered the appeal of anti-fascist Anna Pyshnik from Mozyr. Predictably, the sentence of 3 years in the colony was left unchanged, and the mourning - without satisfaction.

💡 On November 25, anarchist Dmytro Dubovsky was sentenced to 20 years in prison under strict conditions. He was found guilty of participating in a number of direct action actions in the period 2008-2010 and sentenced to 5 years in prison under two articles of the Criminal Code (Part 2 of Article 339 and Part 2 of Article 218). (The final term is 20 years, taking into account the unserved sentence in the case of "anarcho-partisans" and 18 years in the colony by partial addition). Dmitry did not admit guilt, he confirmed his participation only in the attack on the Soligorsk police outpost.
