The date of the next court appearance for Belarus anarchist, Alexander Frantskevich, has now been set.
The anarchist will be tried for malicious disobedience to the requirements of the ‘IK-11 administration’ under Article 411.
The hearing will begin on June 24 at 10.00am in the Volkovyssky District Court. It is our understanding that Alexander can now have yet another 2 more years added on top of the previously imposed term of almost 17 years in prison.
The case against anarchist will be heard by Judge Nikolay Sergeyko, who has already sentenced several political prisoners to additional terms under Article 411.
Just to remind our readers that Alexander Frantskevich was arrested in Minsk on August 12, 2020. He was supposedly “behind” the organising of mass riots, creating an international criminal organisation of anarchists, inciting hatred towards the police, destroying property and other crimes (a total of 13 articles of the Criminal Code).
